Lacey Quartet Commits and More College Commitments

Posted by Scott Stump –

Lacey senior defensive lineman Mike Stuppiello, an All Shore Media first-team selection and the Constitution Division Defensive Player of the Year, will continue his career at Division II Assumption College, according to Lions coach Lou Vircillo.

Stuppiello was also recruited by Sacred Heart, Marist and Holy Cross. He joins an Assumption recruiting class that also includes Howell wideout/defensive back Rob Handy and Colts Neck quarterback Chris Chiarelli.

The Lions also have a pair of players who were late signees for the incoming class at Monmouth University, as lineman Corey Neal and linebacker Anthony Caputo will join former Lions star Justin Pandorf, a current freshman fullback, on the Hawks. Also, lineman Joe Tulino has committed to Sacred Heart from a Lions team that reached the South Jersey Group III semifinals in the fall.

Also, Point Beach senior OL/DL Patrick Tighe is headed to McDaniel College, Barnegat kicker Ed Siciliano is going to Albright and Bengals OL/DL Rob Municchi is going to Muhlenberg.
