A pair of former Shore Conference stars are expected to be in the starting lineup for Penn State when the Nittany Lions kick off the season at home on Saturday with a gimme vs. Youngstown State. Senior Lou Eliades, a former Ocean standout, will start at right tackle and has made a steady progression in his career at State College. Also, according to Southern head coach Chuck Donohue, former star Glenn Carson has been elevated to the starting fullback spot. He had already been switched from linebacker to fullback after being a grayshirt last year and was originally the backup but has apparently moved up and will start, according to Donohue.

Another Southern grad, former Rutgers star tight end Clark Harris, has made the Cincinnati Bengals roster as a long snapper, according to Donohue.
