Price Named New Manasquan Coach, Clark to be new Lakewood Coach

It’s now official at Manasquan, as former assistant Jay Price was recently approved by the Board of Education as the new head football coach for the Warriors, replacing former coach Pete Cahill, who took a vice principal job at the high school.

Price coached the linebackers last season and was previously the defensive coordinator in the early 2000s for his alma mater. He played for the legendary Vic Kubu and also coached under him.

Also speaking of legends, Warren Wolf’s replacement at Lakewood looks to be former assistant LJ Clark, whose name is up for approval for a head coaching stipend in Board of Education meeting agenda for Monday night. Clark was an assistant last year under Wolf in Wolf’s one season with the Piners, in which they finished 3-7 and ended a 33-game losing streak.
