Howell’s Tim Donahue Commits to Fordham, SJV’s Carlucci Sets Shore Conf. Record

Howell senior two-way lineman Tim Donahue has verbally committed to Fordham University, according to Howell head coach Cory Davies. The 6-6, 315-pound senior had interest from multiple Patriot League and Northeast Conference programs.

Donahue’s commitment was first reported by Scout.com at the end of last week.

Also, St. John Vianney senior quarterback Anthony Carlucci is believed to have set the single-game Shore Conference record with 477 yards passing in a 48-47 loss to Toms River South on Friday night. The previous mark of 470 yards was set by Howell senior quarterback Ryan Davies against Toms River North last year. Carlucci also threw for four touchdowns for his second game this season with four or more touchdown passes. Senior wideout Anthony Pante finished with 8 catches for 252 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Lancers racked up 665 yards of total offense and had a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by junior Ishmael Hyman, yet Toms River South came away with the win.
